Suzannah Gabriel is a fashion editorial, portrait and visual artist. During Suzannah's time on the MA Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion, UAL, she produced a diverse set of thought-provoking work that touched on topics such as: mental health, femininity, and race.
Suzannah's work has been featured internationally V&A, Teen Vogue, Guardian, Vice UK, Dazed, The Drum, FAD Magazine, Creative Boom, GUAP Magazine, UAL and more.

Jemella Ukaegbu

Jemella Ukaegbu has been a photographer for more than a decade running her business Mellz Photography LTD and is the founder of The UK Black Female Photographers Community (UKBFTOG) which is a group dedicated to black female photographers to help them have a safe space to connect, learn photography tips and grow as a photographer in an industry dominated by men. Jemella holds a First class degree in Photography and her work has been published in magazines and articles such as Ap Magazine, The Evening Standard, The Huffington Post, and also featured on ITV.

We are a Black repository of historical images and stories that span a wide array of collections owned by Black organizations, publications, and everyday people all over the world.
The Obsidian Collection Archives is building the largest portal of Black Images in the world. We believe in documenting the global Black diaspora accurately and sharing our stories and origins with the world.
We are reclaiming the Black narrative and we are just getting started.
